About Dr. Acosta
Chiropractic Education
Dr. Acosta graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia and has always had a passion for manual healing therapies and helping others, which is why he became a chiropractor. His experience with patients began long before graduating as an intern in the out-patient clinic at the University.
Post Graduation
After graduation, Dr. Acosta moved closer to his hometown in Sugar Hill, GA and began practicing as an Associate Doctor at the North Georgia Spine Center in Buford. It was there that he began working with Dr. Alonzo Borja, D.C. who has 20+ years of experience and has been a mentor to Dr. Acosta’s since his first days at university.
Working at North Georgia Spine Center gave Dr. Acosta firsthand experience in managing patients from all walks of life, as well as understanding the ins and outs of personal injury and workers comp claims in Georgia. In late 2018, he took a position as Clinical Director and Lead Chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Sugar Hill.
